More than 70 boats will be on display and most will be available to qualified customers for demos on Lake Erie.
Ben Richmond Art Sale for Education
Artist Ben Richmond retired in 2011 after operating Richmond Galleries in Marblehead for more than 30 years. Boat show visitors, though, will have unique opportunities to purchase some of his select prints on Saturday & Sunday. All money raised will be used to fund scholarships from the Lake Erie Marine Trades Association Educational Foundation, which has granted more than $105,000 to local students since 1998.
Steve Brownell
Singer, songwriter, performer and island regular Steve Brownell will provide entertainment each day, including songs from his recent Nashville album "No Matter What."
Wine and Beer Tastings
On Saturday visitors will be able to sample some of the latest offerings from Sandusky's Firelands Winery and craft beers from Mt. Carmel Brewing Company of Cincinnati - they make a great nut brown and IPA and Amber Ale.
The tastings will be conducted on the Harbor View Room deck overlooking the marina and all proceeds from sample sales will be used to fund scholarships from the LEMTA Educational Foundation.
Discover Sailing
Free sailboat rides will be provided by licensed captain with Huron-based Harbor North.
Island Area Exhibitors
Over 30 displays of island area businesses offering service from electronics to real-estate.
Antique Boats
An antique boat display will be set up near the entrance with a variety of vintage crafts from the North Coast Ohio Antique Boat Club.
